Former Board Chair of San Diego Hospice Foundation helped to shape hospice care in San Diego

SAN DIEGO – “On behalf of the San Diego Hospice Corporate Board of Directors and the San Diego Hospice Foundation, we are saddened to hear about the passing of philanthropist and community leader Murray L. Galinson,” said Kathleen Pacurar, President and CEO of San Diego Hospice.

“Mr. Galinson was instrumental in helping to shape hospice care as a vital health care resource in our community. As former Board Chair of the San Diego Hospice Foundation, and member of the San Diego Hospice President’s Advisory Council, Mr. Galinson’s philanthropic support and leadership made an enormous difference in the lives of terminally ill adults and children served by the organization. He was a respected and dynamic business and civic leader who made significant and lasting contributions to our community. We are forever grateful for his support and generosity. Our hearts go out to the entire Galinson Family.”
