Camp Erin San Diego

and The Moyer Foundation
Camp Erin San Diego is annual weekend camp experience offered at no charge to children ages 6 to 17 who have been impacted by a death. Camp Erin San Diego combines a traditional, high-energy, fun camp with grief support and education. Campers can benefit from being with others who have had similar experiences. Camp Erin San Diego is part of the larger Camp Erin community with 36 camps in 23 states and one in Canada. Through The Moyer Foundation, Camp Erin has been established across the country, making it the largest network of bereavement camps in the country. 
Each Camp Erin is facilitated through a partnership with a local hospice or grief support agency. Together, these organizations and The Moyer Foundation raise funds to help establish new camps, bringing the healing experience of Camp Erin to children in more communities each year. Applications for Camp Erin will be posted in the near future. Please mark dates on your calendar for June 2011, though.
