Each Gallery 4311 reception is from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. The receptions feature hosted wine and cheese as well as live piano music. Thirty percent of proceeds from the sale of books and art will be donated to San Diego Hospice and the Institute for Palliative Medicine.
Our next art reception will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012.
The next Artists & Authors series will be May 6, 2012. The Artists & Authors series is a new element that will be incorporated into select receptions throughout the year where, in addition to local artists, we invite a local author to participate as well.

About the art
Gallery 4311 is a Non-Profit gallery at San Diego Hospice and the Institute for Palliative Medicine. Gallery 4311 is run by a committee of volunteers who rotate juried art every two months. Artwork displayed at Gallery 4311 is created by local San Diego artists and includes acrylic paintings, oil paintings, silk paintings, watercolors, pastels, photographs, mixed media, Japanese Brush Paintings, collages and other fine art. Much of the art is for sale, with a portion of the proceeds donated to San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine.
Admission to Gallery 4311 is free and includes a wine and cheese art reception. Tours of the San Diego Hospice and Institute for Palliative Medicine Inpatient Care Center facility are available during Gallery 4311 events.
