At San Diego Hospice, our goal is to provide the best day of patient and family care, every day, to nearly 1,000 patients in San Diego and the North County. With the help of our 850 staff and nearly 800 volunteers, our vision is to transform hospice care and transform lives.
Hospice is focused on prevention and relief of suffering, pain and distressing symptoms as well as easing the stress and burden for patients and families that accompany life-limiting illnesses.
This month, as we recognize the importance of hospice care, and those who work in the fields of hospice and palliative care, you are invited to discover all the ways you can make a difference through learning more about hospice, supporting this vision or getting involved. You can find more information below and on the right sidebar. And, as always, you can call us 24/7 at 619-688-1600 to speak to a staff member about hospice.
Explore our beautiful Inpatient Care Center in Hillcrest, located at 4311 Third Avenue in San Diego, to learn more about our hospice services and ask questions regarding end-of-life care. For more information, call Sherry Taylor-Englund at (619) 278-6297. Request a free informational visit about hospice care
