Lasting Gifts of Tribute Opportunities
A Thousand Words
With a gift of $500, to benefit the Center for Grief Care and Education, individuals can have a meaningful photograph of their loved one reproduced on a 4.25”x 4.25” ceramic tile in sepia tones and placed on one of three columns located on the western point of the San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine campus. Each tile will remain for a specified amount time to be determined at the time of your donation. (Click on images to enlarge)
Memorial Point
With a gift of $2,500, a 1'x 3" stone will be engraved with your loved one's name and permanently placed in the Memorial Point flagpole area located on the easternmost point of the San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine campus. Memorial Point is dedicated to those individuals who have contributed to the strength of our country. (Click on images to enlarge)
Pillars of Inspiration
With a gift of $10,000 or more, individuals may choose one of the pre-selected inspirational messages to be engraved onto a stone plaque and mounted on one of the distinctive pillars leading to the entrance of San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine’s Inpatient Care Center. The individual's name will also appear on the plaque. (Click on images to enlarge)
Wall of Tribute
With a gift of $1,000 or more, individuals may elect to have a copper leaf plaque engraved with a personal inscription. The leaf is permanently affixed to the "Wall of Tribute," located on the San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine campus, overlooking Mission Valley. (Click on images to enlarge)

Tribute Garden
With a gift of $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, or $25,000, a permanent stone (varying in size depending on the size of your gift), will be engraved with your loved one's name in the Tribute Garden at San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine. The Tribute Garden is on the westernmost point of our campus, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Mission Valley. The area is designed as a plaza, fully open, with plants and benches flanking its sides. A bronze sculpture of a woman and child highlights the northern end of the garden.
